Onstage I love to sing, tell a story, and make people laugh.
Offstage, I'm a writer.
I create shows that combine all these passions.
"Soup," for example, is about my father’s eclectic life as a Jewish immigrant to the U.S. The show received accolades at the Boston Association of Cabaret Artists' (BACA) Cabaret Fest, and a standing ovation at Amazing Things Arts Center(ATAC), Framingham, MA.
I weave stories into hour-long musical programs for specific audiences. "A Song for Dancing," "Singing into Spring," and "Let's Start the New Year Right" are available for senior residences now.
I joyfully harmonize with Barbara Larson and Robin Burrage as part of the vocal trio, Brodsky, Babs and Burrage. Our musical revue, From This Moment On, sold out it's debut at ATAC and it's reprise at Club Cafe, in downtown Boston.
Formerly, I instructed hundreds of ballroom and swing dancers in the Boston area and beyond as the founder and director of Best Foot Forward.
